Carol Mae Moore, age 65, of Effingham, Illinois passed away at 9:10 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2015 at Effingham Rehabilitation Center in Effingham, Illinois.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Mason Christian Church in Mason, Illinois. Mark White will be officiating. Burial will be at Mason Cemetery in Mason, Illinois. There will be a one hour viewing prior to the service. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2015 at the Mason Christian Church in Mason, Illinois. Memorials may go to donor's choice.

Carol was born on January 25, 1950 in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Floyd and Lottie (Main) Flowers. She enjoyed doing word searches, needlepoint, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Donald Flowers (wife Tammy) of Mason, Illinois; daughter, Debbie Moore (special friend Eric Webb) of Watson, Illinois; two brothers, Raymond Flowers (wife Georgia Ann) of Lakeland, Florida, Kenneth Flowers of Dieterich, Illinois; sister, Patricia Gottberg (husband Herb) of Ottawa, Illinois; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lottie Flowers; brother, Wayne Flowers; three sisters, Lillian Schenk, Dorothy Harper, and Gladys Jones.
