Bryan Keith Jones

Bryan Keith Jones, age 57, of Farina, Illinois passed away at 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at his home in Farina, Illinois.

Funeral Service will be held at the Pagel Funeral Home in Edgewood, Illinois on Saturday, December ­­­­­14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with a two hour viewing prior to service.  Burial will be at Keens Chapel Cemetery in rural Farina, Illinois. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2019 at the Pagel Funeral Home in Edgewood, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to Pagel Funeral Homes or to the donor’s choice. 

Bryan was born on March 22, 1962 in Danville, Illinois, the son of Robert K. and Sharon (Becker) Jones. Bryan was an Army and National Guard veteran.  He liked flying planes, collecting toy soldiers, and being with family and friends. He also enjoyed flowers and gardening.  He was a member of the dinner club of the month and loved going there and visiting everyone. He was very creative; he enjoyed cleaning and making things, especially Christmas and all the decorating for Christmas.  He loved working and learning to construct things.

He is survived by his father Robert K. Jones of Danville, Illinois; Bryan’s companion in life, Merton Lee Scroggins of Farina, Illinois; one daughter, Karen Jones of Champaign, Illinois; step-daughter, Bridget Scroggins of Texaco, Illinois; one brother, Kevin Jones (wife Sandee) of Ridge Farm, Illinois; one sister, Brenda Reffett (husband Jason) of Georgetown, Illinois; godmother, Karen Rudd of Danville, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Becker and his beloved dog, Sadie.
