Donna Heustis Obituary

Donna Mae (Fyke) Heustis, age 74, passed away at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at her home in Farina, Illinois.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at First Southern Baptist Church in Farina, Illinois. There will be a one-hour viewing prior to the service. Pastor Ron Mulvaney will be officiating. Burial will be at Harris Cemetery in Loogootee, Illinois. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018 at First Southern Baptist Church in Farina, Illinois. Memorials may go to Harris Cemetery, First Southern Baptist Church or the donor’s choice. 

Donna was born on December 21, 1943 in Centralia, Illinois, the daughter of Donald L. and Beulah Mae (Patton) Fyke. She married Larry L. Heustis on June 10, 1978 in Centralia, Illinois. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Farina, Illinois. She enjoyed reading books, shopping, going to the Edgewood Opry and listening to country music and spending time with family and friends.

Donna is survived by her companion, Dwight Burks of Beecher City, Illinois; three sons, Lee Hiltibidal (wife Patty) of Centralia, Illinois, Ty Heustis (wife Tammy) of Kinmundy, Illinois, Andy Heustis (wife Vickie) of Atoka, Tennessee; three daughters, Penny Lynn Baker (husband John) of Centralia, Illinois, Penny Sue Pommer (husband Wayne) of Salem, Illinois, Robin Gregory (husband Randy) of Madisonville, Kentucky; sister, Sandra “Kay” Boughers (companion Michael Martinez) of Salem, Illinois; 19 grandchildren and31 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Beulah Fyke; husband, Larry Heustis and brother, Donald Fyke.
