Lyndle L Golden

Lyndle Golden, 71, of St. Elmo, passed away at 11:24 a.m. on Monday September 10, 2018 at his home in St. Elmo, Illinois.

 According to his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and no services will be observed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.

Lyndle was on born April 2, 1947 in Briceville, Tennessee the son of Arthur Cleo and Delta Marie (McCoy) Golden.  He married Marilyn J. Myers on September 25, 1973.  Lyndle had a love of the great outdoors which included hunting, fishing and camping.  He enjoyed welding and loved spending time being active with his grandkids.  He was known as a jack of all trades.

Lyndle is survived by his wife, Marilyn of St. Elmo, Illinois; three sons, William (wife Sheri) Cornwell of Springfield, Indiana, Lyndle Golden Jr of Pinckneyville, Illinois and Joshua (wife Stephanie) Golden of St. Elmo, Illinois; one daughter, Lisa Angel-Golden of St. Elmo, Illinois four brothers, Glenn McCoy, Stanley Golden, Billy Golden and Randy Golden; six sisters, Peggy Cook, Joyce Brown, Nettie Houser, Wanda Golden, Nancy Golden, and Susan Mehl; 20 grandchildren, Adam Lagemann, Jared Lagemann, Aaron John, Trevor Golden, Austin Metzger, Harley Brandt, Alex Golden, Haley Golden, Brenton Young, Bryce Angel, Kristen Angel, Brenna Angel, Johnathan Hawn, Robert Myers, Kameron Myers, Keegan Mercer, Serinity Mercer, Sarenity Myers, Dravyn Golden, and Ashlynn Golden.

Lyndle was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Delta Golden; son, Eric Golden; six brothers, James Bobby Golden, Mark Golden, Glenn McCoy, Pink Golden, Arthur Golden and James Robert Golden and two sisters, Annabell Ledbetter and Earnest Lou Gillmore.
