Ronald Keith Lotz, age 73, of Farina, Illinois passed away at 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at his home in Farina, Illinois.

There will be a private graveside service at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in St. Peter, Illinois. There will be a memorial celebration of life for Ron at the Loading Dock in Farina, Illinois, guests are welcome to join the family any time after 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Memorials may go to the donor’s choice.

Ron was born on September 1, 1944 in Vandalia, Illinois, the son of Benjamin and Lena (Scheer) Lotz. He spent most of his career as a truck driver and enjoyed cutting hair on the weekends.

He is survived by his 3 sons, Michael Keith Lotz (wife Tiffany) of Ottawa, Illinois, Jon Matthew Lotz (wife Courtney) of Farina, Illinois, Corey Lotz (wife Katie) of Effingham, Illinois; 6 grandchildren, Katelyn Lotz, Andrew Lotz, Meagan Lotz, Landon Lotz, Ana Lotz and Henry Lotz.

He was preceded in death by his; father, Benjamin Lotz; mother and step-father, Lena and Roy Koenemann; son, Mark Jon Lotz; daughter, Susan Lotz; sister, Dorothy Garrett; brother, Lee Lotz.
