Alice Faye Rhoades, age 80, of St. Elmo, Illinois passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Aperion Care in St. Elmo, Illinois.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Ramsey, Illinois. Jim Giffin will be officiating. Memorials may go to Aperion Care Activity Department in St. Elmo, Illinois or the donor's choice.

Alice was born on December 13, 1943 in Moweaqua, Illinois, the daughter of Harold and Lenna (Shempf) Paradee. She married Robert Rhoades on July 6, 1960. She loved going to garage sales, bingo, camping, fishing, and spending quality time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Robert Rhoades Jr. (wife Karen) of Herrick; daughters, Sheila Myers (husband Bill) of Beecher City, Brenda Beeson (husband Bill) of Beecher City, and Donna McKittrick (husband Carl) of Herrick; brother, Bill Paradee (wife Cathy), and one sister, Rosaline; 24 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 5 great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Lenna Paradee; husband, Robert Rhoades; daughter, Patty Sue Rhoades; brothers, Charles, Mike, Ernest, Wayne, and Dale; sisters, Eileen, Elizabeth, Henrietta, and Lavone.
