Anna Marie Fleck, age 61, of Altamont, Illinois passed away peacefully at 8:52 a.m. Thursday, September 5, 2019 at her home in Altamont, Illinois.

There will be no services per the family's request.

Anna was born on January 24, 1959 in, Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Jack and Elizabeth Chaney.

She was a long-term member of the Effingham Humane Society. She was an animal investigator for several years in different counties in the area. She loved animals, horticulture, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Mark Mears of Altamont, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Elizabeth Chaney; husband, Robert VanDeList; and brother, Kenney Chaney.
