Anne Harrison

Anne Harrison, age 95, of Effingham, Illinois passed away at 02:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Lakeland Rehab and Health Care Center, Effingham, Illinois.

Per Anne’s wishes, there will be no services. Pagel Funeral Home, Edgewood, Illinois, will be assisting the family and friends.

Anne was born July 31, 1930, the daughter of Julius and Tekla “Tillie” (Smuk) Harrison. Her parents immigrated from Ukraine. Anne graduated from St. John’s School of Nursing, Springfield, Illinois in 1952, as a Registered Nurse. Her career spanned fifty-two years. She enjoyed her home, friends, flowers, yard and everything about nature. She appreciated her special friends that called her regularly to chat and those that visited.

She was preceded in death by her parents Julius and Tillie Harrison and her brother, Peter Harrison.
