Barbara Ann Julian, age 69, of Kinmundy, Illinois, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018, in, Xenia, Illinois surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at the Pagel Funeral Home, Edgewood, Illinois.   Barbara's wishes to be cremated will be observed.  Memorials may be made in Barbara's name to For a Good Paws, 104 N Stanford Rd, Flora, IL. 62839 or donor's choice.

Barbara was born August 5, 1949, the daughter of William Thompson and Mackey Williams Thompson. She married James C. Julian, Sr. on November 28, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois. Barbara collected wind chimes and cookie jars and had a big collection of both.  She had a love of animals and had a green thumb when it came to gardening and tending to plants.

She is survived by four sons; James Julian, Jr of Decatur, Illinois, John Julian of Olney, Illinois, Joseph Julian (wife Shanelle) of Newton, Illinois, Michael Julian of Texas; one daughter, Tina Julian of Xenia, Illinois; 21 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Julian Sr.; her parents, William and Mackey Thompson; two sons, Anthony Thompson and Terry Thompson.
