Carolyn Joy White, age 91, of St. Elmo, Illinois passed away at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday, January

10, 2024 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

A memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorials in honor of Carolyn may be made

to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the donor's choice.

Carolyn was born on July 11, 1932 in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Leland and Marie

(Figgins) Kracaw. She married Harold E. White on July 8, 1985. She enjoyed sewing, gardening,

and cycling. Carolyn had a passion for nature. She also loved nursing and tending to the elderly.

She is survived by her sons, Jim Trier (wife Tamey) of Sycamore, Jerry Trier (wife Linda) of Granite Quarry, North Carolina and Jeff Trier (wife Reba) of St. Elmo; daughter, Judy Trier (Abdulaziz Alzahrani) of Round Lake, New York; brother, Gary Kracaw (wife Joy) of Cordova; 13grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Marie Kracaw; and husband, Harold White
