Chad Allen Sanders, age 52, passed away at his home in St. Elmo, Illinois on Monday, June 16, 2025.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM on July 12, 2025 at Carriage House Event Center in Altamont, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor's choice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.pagelfuneralhome.com.

Chad was born on June 22, 1972, the son of John Sanders and Rebecca Reddick. He married Celia Sanders; they later divorced but stayed close friends until his death. Chad was a wonderful man who touched many lives. He loved music and made unique pieces of art on his beloved tablet. He was one of a kind. Chad loved the outdoors, spending as much time as he could in nature. Chad would like you to know his work here is done. He received the final call home to reunite with many family that had gone before him – his mom, Uncle Mike, Aunt Susie, Uncle Richard and Ritchie to name just a few. He will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Chad is survived by his daughter, Ivy Rochelle Walthes (Scott); grandchildren, Isaac Allen Walthes, Kinsley Ann Walthes, and Pyper Rochelle Walthes; brother, Charles Hunter; sister, Tara Lee Sanders (Brett); aunts, Twila Black (Elmer) and Sharon Mercer (Rick); uncle, Randy Taylor (Shirley); and many beloved cousins.

Chad was preceded in death by his parents, John Sanders and Rebecca Reddick.
