Charles Bruce Christionson, age 69, of Altamont, Illinois, passed away at 11:44 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2020, at his home surrounded by family.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Pagel Funeral Homes in St. Elmo, Illinois with a two-hour visitation prior to service. Jim Giffin will be officiating. Burial will be held at Maplewood Cemetery, St. Elmo, Illinois with military rites. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Charles was born on May 26, 1951, in Avena Township, the son of Beulah (Blankenship) Harper. Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army. He loved gardening, woodworking, and building things. Charles always wanted to be on the go.

He is survived by two sons, Ashley Christianson (wife Star) of Kinmundy, Illinois, Patrick Christianson (wife Amanda) of Brownstown, Illinois; two daughters, Melinda Wayne of Catawissa, Missouri, Brezzy Higgins (husband Eddie) of Altamont, Illinois; 22 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Beulah Harper; brother, Carl Christianson; son-in-law, Christopher Wayne; and one grandson, Max Ledbetter.
