Charles Kraucunas, age 68 of Edgewood, IL passed away at 8:24 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2014 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL.

Memorial Service at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Pagel funeral home in Edgewood, IL with a 2 hour visitation prior to service. Memorial may be made to the family or donor's choice.

Charles was born on June 19, 1946, the son of Joseph and Anna (Loyd) Kraucunas in Effingham, IL. He married Kathryn Roberts on November 21, 1970 at the Methodist Church in Farina, IL.  He enjoyed gardening, wood cutting, working in the yard, bird watching and feeding the squirrels. He also loved his dog named Alice.

Charles farmed, worked at Fedders, the Oil fields and he also worked at Pyramid Marble Granite for several years until he retired.

He leaves behind his wife, Kathryn Kraucunas of Edgewood, IL; son, Justin Kraucunas (wife Kendra) of Edgewood, IL; daughter, Jody Hout (husband Rodney) of Flora, IL; sister, Patty Phillippe (husband Phil) of Anna, IL; granddaughter, Ava Hout of Flora, IL and his dog named Alice.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Anna Kraucunas, and one sister, Sandra Kraucunas.
