Charlotte Gail Ash, age 68, of Effingham, Illinois passed away at 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Effingham Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham, Illinois.

Charlotte was born on December 18, 1946 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, the daughter of Robert C. and Thelma E. (Jenkins) Ash. She attended the First Church of Nazarene in Effingham, Illinois.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Victor Mitchell (wife Raedell) of Iola, Illinois. Vernon Lee Mitchell (wife Candy) of Farina, Illinois, John Mitchell (wife Diana) of Cowden, Illinois; daughter, Vickey Fitzjarrald (husband Carl) of Kansas, Illinois; 2 brothers, Dennis Sheets (wife Marcia) of Ohio and Robert Ash Jr. (wife Sharon) of Irondale, Ohio; sister, Sandra Haught (husband Kenny) of Wellsville, Ohio, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Thelma Ash and one brother in infancy, Remmy Joe Ash.
