Clyde Murry, age 80, of Flora, Illinois passed away at 9:11 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Flora Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Flora, Illinois.

There will be a private family graveside service at Edgewood Cemetery in Edgewood, Illinois. Military Rites will be observed. Jim Giffin will be officiating. Memorials may go to the donor's choice.

Clyde was born July 19, 1940 in Clay County, Illinois, the son of William Argil and Violet (Edwards) Murry. He married Mary Lou Landreth in 1969 in Clinton, Illinois. He was a member of the Edgewood American Legion Post #1168. He loved fishing, spending time with family, friends, and his dog Jack.

He is survived by his brothers, Larry Murry (wife Mary) of Edgewood, Illinois, and Jerry Murry (wife Pat) of Lovington, Illinois; sisters, Beulah Winchester of Flora, Illinois; sisters-in-law, Irma Simmons (husband Jesse) of LaClede, Illinois and Debbie Smith of Farina, Illinois; and brother-in-law, Joe Landreth of LaClede, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Argil and Violet Murry; wife, Mary Murry; brothers, Harl Murry, Bill Murry, and Lavern Murry; and sisters, Fern Gallegos and Bertha Murry.
