Danetta Elaine Clark, age 71, of Edgewood, Illinois, passed away at 2:51 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, Illinois.

Danetta loved doing crafts and spending time with family and friends.  She enjoyed playing board and phone games.

Danetta was born April 21, 1947 in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Bobby Scott, Sr. and Germaine (Holland) Scott.  She married Gary Lee Clark, Sr. in July 1972.

Danetta is survived by her husband, Gary Clark, Sr., of Effingham, Illinois; one son, Gary Clark, Jr. (wife, Elizabeth) of Mobile, Alabama; two daughters, Kim Anderson (husband, Anthony) of Iola, Illinois, Sherry Legear of Flora, Illinois; two brothers, Bobby Scott, Jr. of Martinsville, Illinois, Dwayne Scott (wife, Angie) of Salem, Illinois; four sisters, Rita Felty (husband, Allen) of Beecher City, Illinois, Rhonda Schonschack (husband, Dale) of Beecher City, Illinois, Marsha Bryant (husband, Ray) of Colorado, Barbara Hardin (husband, Cory) of Martinsville, Illinois; six grandchildren, Joseph Cook, Courtney Cook, Rebecca Clark, McKenzie Clark, Laine Cook, Jonathon Anderson, Miranda Anderson; three great-grandchildren, Chase Carter, Gracyn Anderson, Lukas Cook; numerous nieces and nephews

Danetta was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Germaine Scott; brother, Brad Scott; sister, Ladena Scott West; and one niece.
