Dave Bingman, age 74, of Effingham, Illinois passed away at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, Illinois with a two-hour visitation prior to the service. Ralph Blevins will be officiating. Memorials may go to Crossroads Cancer Center, HSHS Hospice, or the donor's choice.

Dave was born on August 16, 1947 in Edgewood, Illinois, the son of James and Beatrice (White) Bingman. He married Oneta Loy on September 13, 1969 in Edgewood, Illinois. He was a member of the Edgewood American Legion post# 1168 and Effingham VFW. Dave served in the United States Army from October 20, 1966 to November 19, 1968. He retired from the Railroad where he worked for several years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making memories with his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Oneta Bingman of Effingham; sons, James Bingman of Stewardson and Luke Bingman of Forest Grove, Oregon; brother, Donnie Bingman (wife Sandy) of Effingham; sisters, Karen "Susie" Beccue of Effingham and Valjean Kroenlein (husband Tony) of Edgewood; grandchildren, Cole Bingman, Renae Bingman, Jack Bingman, and Tami Bingman; brothers-in-law, Gail Loy (wife Pat) of Effingham, Sam Loy (wife Mary) of Bible Grove, and Floyd Bushue of Dieterich; sister-in-law, Colleen Pourchot (husband Bill) of Largo, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Beatrice Bingman; in-laws, Ken and Mildred Loy; brother, Lanny Bingman and one brother in infancy; brother-in-law, Randall Loy and Bob Beccue; sister-in-law, Barb Bushue and Lorraine Loy.
