Donald L. Kilzer, age 62, of St. Elmo, Illinois passed away at his home on April 29, 2017.

Funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the St. Elmo Christian Church in St. Elmo, Illinois with two hours visitation prior to service. Tom Fedrigon will be officiating. Burial will be at the St. Bonaventure Cemetery in rural St. Elmo, Illinois. Memorials may go to the St. Bonaventure Cemetery or the donor's choice. 954 in St. Elmo, Illinois to Robert and Marie (Durbin) Kilzer. He loved going mushroom hunting, working with wood and spending time with friends, family and especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother, Marie Kilzer of St. Elmo, Illinois; four sons, Mark Kilzer (wife Barb) of St. Elmo, Illinois, Josh Kilzer (wife Christy) of St. Elmo, Illinois, Jason White (wife Kylie) of Bridgeport, Illinois and Mike Short (wife Angelia) of New Baden, Illinois; one daughter, Brandy Brown (husband Marion) of Vandalia, Illinois; fiancé, Sheryl Jackson of St. Elmo, Illinois; two sisters, Janet Flora (husband Gary) of Beecher City, Illinois and Cheryl Calhoun of St. Elmo, Illinois; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Robert Kilzer and his twin brother, Ronnie Kilzer.
