Dorothy Elaine Combs, age 93, of Farina, Illinois passed away at 6:12 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Pagel Funeral Homes in St. Peter, Illinois with a one-hour viewing prior to the service. Burial will be at Farina Cemetery in Farina, Illinois. Memorials may go to Farina Food Pantry, Southpoint Baptist Church- 3335 Tiger Hole Road Jacksonville, Florida, 32216, or the donor's choice.

Dorothy was born August 1, 1928 in Marion County, Illinois, the daughter of Dewey and Wilhelmina "Minnie" (Hanbaum) and stepmother Mary Combs. Dorothy was a member of the Southpoint Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a supervisor for State Farm Insurance for 55 years. Dorothy enjoyed workin g and spending time with her family, friends, and her caretaker Deanna. She spent her last few years at The Glenwood Assisted Living which she called home.

She is survived by her  nephew, Bryan Combs (wife Patty) of Kinmundy, Illinois; and great-nephew, Riley Combs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Minnie Combs; stepmother, Mary Combs; brother, Harry Combs; sister-in-law, Ruth Combs.
