Douglas Allen Glen Pocrnich, age 56, of Wheeler, Illinois passed away at 10:57 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Crossroots Church in Effingham, Illinois (formerly known as Effingham Assembly of God). Pastor Don Wallace will be officiating. There will be a Celebration of Life after the service at Effingham Moose Lodge. Memorials may go to the family.

Doug was born on June 13, 1964 in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Edgar Nolan and Donna Lee (Kissinger) Pocrnich. He married Debbie Heiser on May 15, 1993 in Effingham, Illinois. Doug was a member of the Effingham Moose Lodge. He loved singing karaoke, golfing, playing pool, and spending time with his family and friends. Doug will be dearly missed by all.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie Pocrnich of Wheeler, Illinois; son, Justin Pocrnich of Wheeler, Illinois; daughters, Heidi Mose (wife Stephanie) of Effingham, Illinois and Brandy Pocrnich of Wheeler, Illinois; brothers, Chet Pierce (wife Pam) of Effingham, Illinois and Monte Pocrnich of Effingham, Illinois; sisters, Michelle Black of Effingham, Illinois and Becky Wonn of Newton, Illinois; seven grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Edgar Nolan and Donna Lee Pocrnich; brother, Nolan Dale Pocrnich; sister, Jesse Conner.
