Elizabeth "Sam" A. Willis, age 60, of Sumner, Illinois passed away at 2:39 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

There will be no services.  Memorials may go to Pagel Funeral Homes to offset funeral expenses.

Elizabeth was born on May 13, 1962 in Pueblo, Colorado, the daughter of Chellis O. and Bessie J. (Hedrick) Whipps.

She is survived by a son, Michael Williams of Sumner, Illinois; daughter, Tamara Williams (Nevin) of Altamont, Illinois; two brothers, Bill Whipps of Vincennes, Indiana and Michael Knight of Indiana; two sisters, Laura Whipps of North Carolina and Cindi Seng of Lynchburg, Virginia; sister-in-law, Tracy Bowman of Sumner, Illinois and four grandchildren.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Chellis and Bessie Whipps.
