Eloise Kelly, 91, of Post Oak, IL. passed away at 4:50 p.m. Friday, July 04, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at C & A Pagel Funeral Home in St. Elmo, IL. with Pee Wee Denton officiating. Burial will be at the Springhill Cemetery, Loudon Twp.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home Tuesday, July 8, 2014 and one hour prior to service.  Memorials may be made to Springhill Cemetery.

Eloise was born on August 22, 1922 in Loudon Township, IL, the daughter of William E.  and Mary Jane (Tipsword) Dial. She married Raleigh Forbes in June 14, 1940 in Kirkwood, MO.   He preceded her in death in July 8, 1982. She then married Kenneth L. Kelly in June 11, 1984 in Fayette County. He preceded her in death in January 5, 2006.  Eloise worked for Richardson Bros. in St. Elmo, IL. for 29 years and retired in 1985. She was a Gold Star in the St. Elmo American Legion Post# 420. She enjoyed sewing and was known for her good cooking. Eloise also enjoyed being with her family and friends.

She is survived by a son, Benny Forbes (wife Darlene) of St, Elmo, IL; two daughters,  Wilma Myers (husband Fred) of Beecher City, IL., Brenda Crockett (husband Randall) of Brownstown, IL.; daughter-n-law, Mary Forbes of Vandalia, IL.; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two son, James Forbes and Kenny Forbes; 8 brothers, Benny, John, Jake, George, Leo, Charley, Levi and Lewis Dial; 5 sisters, Etta Durbin, Sarah Warner, Pheba Jennings, Julie Rhodes, and Nita Forbes.
