Eric Jason Aldora, age 49, of Effingham, Illinois passed away the morning of Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Evergreen Rehab. Nursing Center in Effingham, Illinois

Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Watson Cemetery.  Memorials may go to Hope4Horses, E.A.R.S., or the donor's choice.

Eric was born on October 4, 1974 in Troy, Ohio, the son of Gary L. and Deborah A. (Miller) Aldora. He loved listening to music, boating, working crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy, and was an Avid Chicago Bears fan.

He is survived by his parents, Gary and Rose Aldora of Watson and Deborah "Scooter" Aldora of Effingham; brothers, Ryan Aldora (Becky Kaufman) of Effingham, Jesse and Emily Bonner of Effingham, and Bill Cook (Jessica Carey) of Effingham and sister, Christy Aldora (Ron Strackeljohn) of Effingham; nephew, Oakley Bonner, nieces, Cali Cook and Stetsyn Bonner, and several other family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Francis Miller, Charles and Belva Aldora; Uncles, Charlie Miller, Terry Miller, Gary Miller, Steve Miller, and Terry Aldora; Aunts, Joyce Maggert, Karen Kiefer, Bonnie Granger.
