Evelyn Ruth Joliff, age 92, of Edgewood, Illinois passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Lutheran Care Center in Altamont.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m./p.m.  Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood with a one-hour visitation prior to the service. Pastor Michael Durre will be officiating. Evelyn was born on July 6, 1932 in Clay County, Illinois, the daughter of Roy T. and Fairy R. (Humes) Lybarger. She married Clyde W. Joliff on February 22, 1953 in Clay County. She was a lifetime member of the Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle in Iola. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Joliff (special friend Cindy) of Edgewood and Gary Joliff (wife Linda) of Altamont; daughters, Mary Jo Pilman of Kinmundy and Jeanne Goers ( special friend James) of Altamont; brothers, Ronald Lybarger of Martinsville; sisters, Lyvonne Quast (husband Sam) of Funkhouser and Margaret Bradley of Ray, Indiana; 12 grandchildren, Michael Joliff, Becky Joliff, Erin Byers, Sarah Pilman Chad Hassebrock, Sharon Pilman, Tiffany Goers, Angel Simms, Stephanie Goers, Megan Huddleston, Jarrett Goers, Andrea Joergens  and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Fairy Lybarger; husband, Clyde Joliff; daughter, Cathy Hassebrock; twin brother, Everland Lybarger; brothers, Edward Dean Lybarger and Wilbur Lybarger; grandsons, Denton Goers and Joseph Joliff; son in law, David Pilman.
