Flossie Lucille Rush, age 95, of Watson, Illinois passed away Friday, October 25, 2024 at HSHS St. Anthony Memorial Hospital.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood with a one-hour visitation prior to the service. Kent Robinson will be officiating. Interment will be at Watson Cemetery. Memorials may go to American Cancer Society or the donor's choice.

Flossie was born on July 23, 1929 in Watson, Illinois, the daughter of Adam L. and Carrie T. (Ledbetter) Walker. She married Alfred Martin Rush on September 9, 1948 in Effingham, Illinois. She was a homemaker and a gardener of both flowers and vegetables; she loved cooking, crocheting, sewing, reading, fishing, camping, and babysitting for numerous nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her son, Alfred Wayne Rush of Watson; daughter, Sharon Lucille Rush of Watson; granddaughter Elizabeth Jo Greenhalgh (husband Sean) of Naperville, IL.; great-grandchildren, Evan John, Lily Jo, and Elise Lucille.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Carrie Walker; husband, Alfred Rush; brothers, Lee William Walker, Arthur Thomas Walker, Robert Wayne Walker; sisters, Glenna Arnold, Lorene Prather, Helen Louise French, Lenora Rainey, and Albina Jamison.
