Geraldine Anna Lange, age 93, of Altamont, Illinois passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 1:21 p.m. surrounded by her family in Altamont, Illinois.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Pagel Funeral Home in St. Peter, Illinois with one hour viewing prior to service.  Jim Giffin will be officiating.  Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Shobonier, Illinois.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Pagel Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Memorials may go to the American Cancer Society or Donor's Choice.

Geraldine was born on May 17, 1928 in Fayette County, Illinois, the daughter of George and Rose (Myer) Meyer.  She married Harold F. Lange on October 6, 1946 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, St. Peter, Illinois.  He preceded her in death on December 30, 1975.  She enjoyed embroidering, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Larry Lange (companion Carolyn Colman) of Louisville, IL; daughters, Linda Sullens of Foley, Alabama, Ruth Dennis (husband Steve) of Decatur, IL; Kimberly Smith (husband Ron) of Altamont, IL; Beverly Lee of Altamont, IL; brother, Elmer Meyer of St. Peter, IL; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rose Meyer; husband, Harold F. Lange; daughters, Carolyn Lange and Dorothy Lux; sons-in-law, Dale Lux, and Michael Sullens, Sr.; brother, Vernon Meyer; and sister, Hilda Aukamp.
