Glen D. Towles, age 85, passed away at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2019 peacefully, at his home, surrounded by family.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2019 at Edgewood Cemetery in Edgewood, Illinois. Memorials may go to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the donor's choice.

Glen was born on November 19, 1933 in Edgewood, Illinois, the son of Lester and Fern (Moreland) Towles. He married P. Joan Beck on May 22, 1965 in Sullivan, Illinois.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, P. Joan Towles of Minooka, Illinois; daughters, Paula (Bruce) Henderson of Minooka, Illinois, Kristie (Kevin) Feeney of Channahon, Illinois, and Julia (Quentin) Vorel of Newnan, Georgia; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
