Glenda Gale Hissong-Brown, age 40, of St. Elmo, Illinois passed away at 4:00 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 02, 2016 at C&A Pagel Funeral Home in St. Elmo, Illinois. Father Marek Kasperczuk will be officiating. There will be a one-hour viewing prior to the service. Memorials may go to St. Mary's Council of Catholic Women or donor's choice.

Glenda was born on February 23, 1976, the daughter of Gary A. Hissong and Sandra D. (Baucum) Evans. She enjoyed camping, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her father, Gary A. Hissong of St. Elmo, Illinois; mother, Sandra D. Evans of St. Elmo, Illinois; daughter, Joplin Brown (fiancé Jesse) of St. Elmo, Illinois; brother, Greg Hissong (wife Joy) of St. Elmo, Illinois; grandmother, Versie Baucum of St. Elmo, Illinois; several nephews, Cody, Eli, Kade and Marley and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Harry and Faye Hissong and grandfather, Bill Baucum.
