Harl V. Murry, age 79, of Kinmundy, Illinois passed away at 6:25 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Mt. Vernon Health Care Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

Funeral services will be at a later date. Memorials may go to the family to offset funeral expenses or donor's choice.

Harl was born on May 19, 1937 in Larkinsburg Township, Illinois, the son of William and Violet (Edwards) Murry. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, traveling, going to auctions, dancing and spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his daughter, Susan Murry (fiancé Tony Duncan) of Kinmundy, Illinois; three brothers, Clyde Murry of Flora, Illinois, Larry Murry (wife Mary) of Edgewood, Illinois and Jerry Murry (wife Pat) of Lovington, Illinois; sister, Buelah Winchester of Mt. Vernon and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Violet Murry; son, William Harl Murry in infancy; two brothers, Lavern Murry and Bill Murry; two sisters, Bertha Goodman and Fern Gallegos.
