Howard Lee Harmon, age 76, of Farina passed away at 3:27 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2020 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.

There will be no services per the family's request. Memorials may go to the family or the donor's choice.

Howard was born on June 10, 1943 in Decatur, Illinois, the son of Charlie and Ella (Guffey) Harmon. He married Effa Allen on April 20, 1962 in Farina, Illinois. He loved walking his dogs, mowing and keeping up with his yard, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Effa Harmon of Farina, Illinois; son, Kenton Harmon of Farina, Illinois; brothers, Orville Harmon (wife Alice) of Xenia, Illinois, Dick Harmon (wife Sondra) of Salem, Illinois; sister, Martha Fenn of Arizona; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ella Harmon; brothers, Charlie and Robert; sisters, Lee, Audie, Ann, Alma, Velma.
