Ida M. Wodtke, age 100 of St. Peter, Illinois passed away at 4:25 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia, Illinois.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2015 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, St. Peter, Illinois with one hour viewing prior to the service.  Rev. William Emrick officiating.  Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery, St. Peter, Illinois.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Pagel Funeral Home in St. Peter, Illinois. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran School Tuition Assistance Fund or Donor's Choice.

Ida was born on September 1, 1914 in St. Peter, Illinois, the daughter of John H. and Mary L. (Schroeder) Schoon.  She married Julius William Wodtke on September 7, 1939 in St. Louis, MO.  He preceded her in death on June 10, 1986.

She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church since 1914, and a former Braille Bible Worker.

She is survived by three daughters: Betty Wodtke of Vandalia, IL; Marilyn Cole, (husband Walt) of Vandalia, IL, and Janine Wodtke (friend, Roy Nichols) of Vandalia, IL; son-in-law, Abe Clymer of Vandalia, IL; six grandchildren: Marilee Stine, Cash Cole, Angie Fedie, Joy Clymer, Heather Tirpak, and Jessica Talley; 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenneth Wodtke; daughter, Arlene Clymer; brothers: Paul, Emil, Richard, and Adolph Schoon; sisters: Edna and Erma Schoon; granddaughter, Lindsay Dixson and 3 great-grandsons, Dylan Stine, Matthew Tirpak, and Joseph Tirpak.
