James E. Jeans, age 77, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away March 13, 2019.

Arrangements are pending with Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, Illinois. There will be a graveside service at a later date.

James was born October 16, 1941 in Watseka, Illinois, the son of James and Lorraine (Fender) Jeans. He attended school in Nashville, Indiana where he graduated High School in 1960. James joined the Air Force shortly thereafter, where he retired after 20 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Lola Jeans of Valdosta, Georgia; son, Rick Jeans of Statenville, Georgia; sisters, Lois Scott and Pearl Lucas of Seymour, Indiana; two grandsons, two great-grandsons; several stepchildren, step grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lorraine Jeans.
