Jerry Duane Lee, age 66, of Altamont, Illinois passed away at 7:34 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 13, 2021 at Pagel Funeral Home in St. Peter, Illinois with a one hour viewing prior to service. Rev. Ryan Meyer will be officiating. Burial will be at the St. Peter Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Pagel Funeral Home in St. Peter, Illinois. Jerry was born was on May 20, 1955 at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia, Illinois, the son of Charles and Arlene (Magnus) Lee. He married Twila J. Johnson on June 18, 2011 in Altamont, Illinois.  Jerry was a mechanic, and he was on the St. Peter Fire Department for 25 years and was an EMT. he enjoyed fishing and loved model car shows and riding motorcycles.

He is survived by four sons, Chet Lee (wife Ronnetra) of Redondo Beach, California, Joey Lee (fiancé Hannah Mitchell) of Farina, Illinois and Jared Lee of Monticello, Illinois and Dorsey Johnson of Altamont, Illinois; four daughters, Nicholle Lee of Kinmundy, Illinois, Monica Fopay (husband Jon) of Watson, Illinois; Crystal Johnson of Comanche, Texas, and Tiffany Johnson of Altamont, Illinois; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Arlene Lee and one brother, Dennis Lee.
