John Elvin Durham, age 64, of Farina, Illinois passed away at 1:35 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022 at his home in Farina.

Memorial service will at 6 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, Illinois with a two hour viewing prior to service.  Memorials may go to P.K.D. Foundation 1001 E. 101st Terrace Suite 220 Kansas City, Missouri 64131 in honor of his great granddaughter, Azlyn.

John was born on July 20, 1958 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the son of Phyleamon and Ludi (Atkins) Durham. He married Teresa Yant on August 28, 1982 in Nashville, Tennessee. John loved fishing, tinkering in his garage. He also loved watching NASCAR, football, and spending time with his family and friends, most importantly, his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Durham of Farina; sons, Johnathan Durham (wife Jamie) of Farina, Joseph Durham of Farina , and Curtis Durham (wife Misty) of Salem; daughters, Casey Osteen of Smyrna, Tennessee and Kayla Lyberger (husband Shane)  of Sandoval; niece, Christy Ceballos of Waverly, Tennessee; brothers, Jimmy Durham (wife Wanda) of Christiana, Tennessee, Arthur Durham (wife Kathy) of Belleville, Michigan, and Bill Durham of Beecher City; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jackie Durham; sister, Helen Lenz; great-granddaughter, Azlyn Rae Kollman, and ex-wife, Lisa Durham.
