Judith Ann Cox, age 79, of St. Elmo, Illinois passed away at 2:10 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2022 at St. Louis University Hospital.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Pagel Funeral Homes in St. Elmo, Illinois. There will be no visitation prior to the service. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in St. Elmo. Memorials may go to St. Elmo Pet Clinic or the donor's choice.

Judy was born on January 30, 1943 in St. Elmo, Illinois, the daughter of Leonard and Trudy (Tipton) Cox. She enjoyed gardening, painting, and had a tremendous love for animals. Judy sang in the choir at St. Elmo Methodist Church for several years.

She is survived by her son, Brian Gillaspie (wife Diane) of St. Clair, Missouri; daughters, Stephanie Gillaspie of St. Elmo and Jennifer Harris (wife Shelly) of Apple Valley, California; granddaughter, Hannah Gillaspie of Charleston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Trudy Cox and brother, Bobby K. Cox.
