Justin Michael Blankenship, age 22, of Kinmundy, Illinois passed away at 2:30 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2018 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Pagel Funeral Homes in St. Peter, Illinois with a two-hour visitation prior to the service. Pastor Ed Stephens will be officiating. Burial will be at Old Loogootee Cemetery in rural St. Peter, Illinois.  Memorials may go to Pagel Funeral Homes to assist with funeral expenses.

Justin was born on November 21, 1995 in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Michael E. and Donna F. (Reeves) Blankenship. He enjoyed reading and fishing. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his children.

He is survived by his mother, Donna Elston of Kinmundy, Illinois; companion, Tierra Howard of Centralia, Illinois; son, Braxton Howard of Centralia, Illinois; daughter, Harmony Blankenship of Centralia, Illinois; two brothers, Skyler Blankenship of Kinmundy, Illinois and Jacob Elston of Kinmundy, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Blankenship.
