Kathryn Rogene Foreman, age 84 of Watson, Illinois passed away at 8:14 a.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Watson United Methodist Church with one hour viewing prior to service. Rev. Jim Whitaker will be officiating. Burial will take place in the Watson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the Watson United Methodist Church. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Watson United Methodist Church.

Kathryn was born on November 24, 1930 in Cumberland County, one of two siblings born into the family of Golden and Marie (Gable) Holsapple.  Kathryn grew up in Rose Hill, Illinois and was employed at Norris Electric in Newton, Illinois for 18 years. She married Clarence Foreman on June 11, 1961 at Rose Hill United Methodist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother with a lifelong passion for gardening, cooking, and camping. She was a member of the Watson United Methodist Church for over 52 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Kathryn  is survived by her husband, Clarence of Watson, Illinois; two sons, David Foreman  (wife Cindy) of Dieterich, Illinois and Keith Foreman (wife Kay) of Effingham, Illinois; one daughter, Linda Chaplin (husband Jay) of Olney, Illinois; one brother, Glen Holsapple of  Rose Hill, Illinois; 7 grandchildren, 1 step – grandchild and 3 great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Golden and Marie Holsapple.
