Kevin John Kerry, age 66, of Altamont, Illinois passed away at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at his home in Altamont, Illinois surrounded by his family.

Memorial service will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021at Pagel Funeral Homes in St. Elmo, Illinois. Memorials may go to HSHS Hospice, Effingham.

Kevin was born on June 30, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Bertram and Verna (Ledonne) Kerry. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends when he wasn't working. Kevin graduated from Lansdowne Senior High School in Baltimore, Maryland in 1972. He served in the United States Army for one year after graduating.

He is survived by his mother, Verna Kerry of Maryland; sons, Shane Voris (wife Melissa) of Shobonier, Illinois and Dustin Voris of Altamont, Illinois; daughters, Michelle Davis (husband Michael) of St. Elmo, Illinois and Melody Younker of Shobonier, Illinois; brother, Reid Kerry of Maryland; sisters, Kathleen Burbank (husband Jonathan), Colleen Cox (husband Raymon), Sandra Williams (husband Dave), Eileen Blob (husband Richard), Kelly Tsottles (husband James) all of Maryland; 9 grandchildren, Ashley, Russell, Lilli, Erika, Hennessey, Amber, Ryan, Mikel, Austin; 2 great-grandchildren; 5 nieces, 8 nephews, and 8 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bertram Kerry; wife, Florence Brna; and granddaughter, Ashley Adams.
