Lana Kay Engelien, age 53, of Farina, Illinois, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, January 1, 2022 at her residence in Farina, Illinois.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Lana was born December 27, 1968 in Gillette, WY to Larry and Cecilia (Goranson) Mattice.  She married Jeffery Engelien in 1996.  She was very crafty; she loved gardening, animals, reading, and video gaming.

Lana is survived by her father, Larry Mattice of Washington State; mother, Cecilia (James) Mahon of St. Elmo, IL; husband, (separated, but remained best friends) Jeffery Engelien of Rapid City, South Dakota; son, Warren Owens of Bozeman, Montana; daughter, Amanda Engelien of St. Elmo, IL; brother, Jason (Shelly) Mattice of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandchildren Kyara Engelien and Elisa Engelien of St. Elmo, IL.  .

Lana was preceded in death by her grandparents.
