Lee B. Bushue, age 92, of Mason, Illinois passed away on Monday, May 12 at Lakeland Nursing Home in Effingham, Illinois.

Lee was born on July 21, 1932 in Union Township, Illinois, the son of Bernard Lee Bushue and Therssia Verdeyen. He married Emma Louise Warner on September 8, 1951 and they spent 74 wonderful years together. He served his country in the United States Navy for four years. He absolutely loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids and great-grandkids. Lee loved gardening, and to tinker with and work on things outside and really enjoyed camping. He was also famous for being able to build anything and loved working with wood especially. His family raised hogs and he enjoyed taking care of them.

Lee is survived by his son Rodney Bushue (Lisa) of San Antonio, Texas; daughter Margaret Johnson (Bruce) of Tucson, Arizona, Deborah Robertson of Mason, Illinois, and Susan Bushue-Russel of Greenwood, Indiana, as well as his 7 beloved grandkids and 9 great-grandkids and two of his siblings.

Lee was preceded in death by his wife Emma, his parents Bernard and Therssia, his son-in-law David Robertson, and son-in-law Jeff Russell, as well as several of his brothers and sisters.
