Leonard E. Rubin, age 93, of St. Peter, Illinois passed away at 9:20 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Lutheran Care Center in Altamont, Illinois.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 01, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Pastor Hoehler and Pastor Doug Meyer will be officiating. There will be a one hour viewing prior to the service. Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Pagel Funeral Homes in St. Peter, Illinois. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran School, St. Paul Lutheran Church, or donor's choice.

Leonard was born on April 03, 1922 in Lone Grove Township, the son of Arthur and Norinna (Bernhardt) Rubin. He married Luella Buzzard on February 18, 1967 in Vandalia, Illinois. He was a member of the Men's Club at St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Fayette County Board for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Luella Rubin of St. Peter, Illinois; son, Bruce Rubin (wife LeaAnn) of St. Peter, Illinois; step-son, Ron Graves (wife Kathy) of Bloomington, Illinois; step-daughters, Sandra Griffin (husband Scott) of Altamont, Illinois and Brenda Milliron (husband Deke) of Milton, Florida; grandchildren, Hannah and Sam Rubin; step grandchildren, Katie Wolk, Mark Graves, Ryan Graves, Keech Griffin, Courtney Griffin, Leigh Ann Ruffner and John Brown; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Norinna Rubin; sisters, Norma Garrett, Arlene Meador and Thea Rubin; son-in-law, Bob Brown.
