Leslie Eugene Reed, age 75, of St. Elmo, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2026, in Memorial Hospital, Springfield, Illinois, surrounded by his family.

Leslie was born April 8th, 1950, in Altamont, Illinois, the son of Preslie Reed and Lillie Irene (Badman) Reed. Leslie loved getting together with his family at the river, fishing and camping. He taught his sons how to fix anything, and he never turned his back on helping anyone, he never met a stranger.

Leslie is survived by his sons; Robert Branham of St. Elmo, Illinois, TW (Jessica) Branham of Atlanta, Illinois; daughters; Correana (Keith) Keys of Montrose, Illinois, Missy Parks of Shelbyville, Illinois, Amanda (Derek) Chaney of St. Elmo, Illinois, Priscilla (Joshua Yingst) Hatfill of Beecher City, Illinois; Sister, Linda (Michael) Rider of Maple City, Michigan; Brother in law, David Arnold of Brownstown, Illinois; Grandchildren; Justin Branham, Blake (Caitlyn) Chaney, Austin (Lacey) Chaney, Cody Chaney, Logan Ribble, Jackson Yingst, Dalton Hatfill, Riley Hatfill, Ash Branham, Trynitee Branham, Emma Ribble, Kaylee (Will) Ribble, Cheyenne (Nathaniel) Stewart, Aaron (Brittany) Davis, Kyle Armstrong, Nathan Parks, Tanner Parks, and13 Great-Grandchildren.
