Linda C. Beck, age 62, of St. Peter, Illinois passed away at 8:55 a. m. Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the Doctor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Salem, Illinois.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 at C & A Pagel Funeral Home in St. Elmo, Illinois. PeeWee Denton will be officiating. There will be a one-hour viewing prior to the service. Burial will be at Ramsey Cemetery in Ramsey, Illinois. Memorials may go to C&A Pagel Funeral Home to defer funeral costs or donor's choice.

Linda was born on March 30, 1954 in Bond County, Illinois, the daughter of Harold and Carma (Dively) Nordyke. She married Bryon S. Beck Sr. on February 07, 1981 at First Baptist Church in Louisville, Illinois. She enjoyed playing cards, board games, socializing and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her three daughters, Chandra Beck of Centralia, Illinois, Crystal Beck of St. Peter, Illinois, Jamie Mitchell of St. Peter, Illinois; sister, Sue Boyer of Effingham, Illinois; two grandchildren, Kyra Mitchell and Kimberly Marcum.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Carma Nordyke; husband, Bryon Beck Sr; two sisters, Rhonda Marcum and Vivian Messy; three brothers, Eugene Nordyke, Johnny and Jerry Nordyke in infancy.
