Linda Faye Gillespie, age 56, of Dieterich, Illinois passed away at 5:15 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021 at her home in Dieterich, Illinois. Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Tipsword Cemetery in rural Beecher City, Illinois. Jim Giffin will be officiating. Memorials may go to Pagel Funeral Homes to help with funeral expenses.

Linda was born on June 25, 1965 in Brooksville, Florida, the daughter of Charlie R. and Nelda E. (Keen) Wright. She married Francis G. Gillespie on August 30, 2001 in Geneva, Alabama. She enjoyed watching movies, gardening, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Gillespie of Dieterich, Illinois; sons, Marvin Sheffield (wife Breanna) of Coffee Springs, Alabama, Adam Sheffield Sr. of Vernon, Florida, George Sheffield (wife Sandra) of Kinston, Alabama, William Sheffield (wife Toshi) of Panama City, Florida; daughters, Charlotte Sheffield (husband Greg) of Bonifay, Florida and Rebecca McWhorter (husband Kevin) of Edgewood, Illinois; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Nelda Wright; grandchild, Corbin Sheffield.
