Linda "Susie" Sue Rush, age 63, of Edgewood, Illinois passed away at 12:55 p.m. Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 8, 2021 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood, Illinois with a one-hour viewing prior to the service. Jim Watts will be officiating. Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery in Edgewood, Illinois. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Pagel Funeral Homes in Edgewood. Memorials may go to Woohoo Sisterhood, Fear Nothing, or the donor's choice.

Susie was born on March 12, 1958 in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Bruce and Delores (Bushue) Vogel. She married Timothy Rush on January 10, 1976 in Edgewood, Illinois. Susie was a member of the Altamont Christian Church. She loved looking at deer, reading, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Delores Vogel of Farina, Illinois; husband, Tim Rush of Edgewood, Illinois; son, Alan Rush (wife Keila) of York, Pennsylvania; daughters, Christy Mesnard (husband Codey) of Altamont, Illinois, Victoria McCormick (fiancé Rob Knierim) of Strasburg, Illinois and Jennifer Alwardt (husband Jeffrey) of Altamont, Illinois; brothers, Terry Vogel of Farina, Illinois and Steve Vogel (wife Sherri) of Farina, Illinois; sisters, Pat Atwood (husband Max) of St. Elmo, Illinois and Sandy Zacha (husband Bob) of Altamont, Illinois; sisters-in-law, Judi Ballinger (husband Gil) of Lexington, Tennessee and Linda Rush of Effingham, Illinois; grandchildren, Jael, Tyler, Lucas, Easton, Henry, Alyson, Timothy, and Matthew; and  her beloved dog, Lucky.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Vogel; in-laws, Darrel "Shorty" and Rosella Rush.
