Lloyd Eugene Morris, age 73, of Hord, Illinois passed away at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Watson Baptist Church in Watson, Illinois with one hour viewing prior to service.  Kent Robinson will be officiating. Burial will be at the Watson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Watson Baptist Church. Lloyd was born on April 24, 1941 in Milliken, Colorado, the son of Donald W. and Anna Marie (Campbell) Morris. He married Erma Sue Durbin on April 16, 1960 in Altamont, Illinois. He is a member and a Deacon of the Watson Baptist Church. Lloyd enjoyed woodworking and making toys.

He is survived by his wife, Erma Sue Morris of Hord, Illinois; two sons, Scott Morris (wife Sarah) of Pesotum, Illinois, Bill Morris (wife Beth) of Greenup, Illinois; two daughters, Robin Heltsley (husband Keith) of Donnellson, Illinois, Penny Gressel (husband David) of Hord, Illinois; three brothers, Lannie Morris of Altamont, Illinois, Roger Morris (wife Judy) of Elwood, Illinois and Ronnie Morris (wife Jean) of Altamont, Illinois; one sister, Connie Parmenter (husband Ron) of Alliance, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Earl Morris and one sister, Marcella Morris.
