Lourdes M. Depew, age 57, of Shelbyville, Illinois passed away on August 8, 2015 in Decatur, Illinois.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 10 to 11 a.m. with a Graveside service to follow at Springhill Cemetery. Cletus Hicks will be officiating. Memorials may be made to the family to defer costs of service.

Lourdes was born on March 18, 1958, the daughter of Juan A. and Maria F. (Romero) Montoya in Embudo, New Mexico. She married Donald Depew on September 17, 1983 in Llano, New Mexico. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Depew of Shelbyville, Illinois; 2 sons, Desi Gonzales of Robinson, Illinois and James Depew (wife Liz) of Shelbyville, Illinois; 4 daughters, Crystal Bierner (husband Brian) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jessica Ramierez (husband Frank) of Bloomington, Illinois, Juanita Bly (husband Adam) of Shelbyville, Illinois and Donna Jones (husband Jamison) of Shelbyville, Illinois; 2 brothers, Margarito Montoya (wife Bernice) of Vadito, New Mexico and Johnny Montoya of Vadito, Illinois; 4 sisters, Modesta Esquibel (husband Lawarence) of Lymen, New Mexico, Genevieve Benavides (husband Dick) of Penasco, New Mexico, Rosemary Medina (husband Fred) of Ojo Sarco, New Mexico and Della Gonzales (husband Alfred) of Vadito, New Mexico, and  12 grandchildren .

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Maria Montoya.
