Marian Catherine Adams, age 87, of Mason, Illinois passed away at 7:44 p.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at her home, with her family by her side.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Leith Cemetery in Mason, Illinois.  Pastor Mark White will be officiating.  Memorials may be made in Marian's honor to the Leith Cemetery Fund in Mason, Illinois.

Marian was born on December 26, 1933 in Effingham, Illinois, the daughter of Henry and Francis (Kreke) Walker.  She married Arlie Adams on August 30, 1952 in Effingham County, Illinois.  Arlie preceded her in death on July 20,1987. Marion was always very content staying close to her home and taking care of her family. Marian's family is deeply appreciative to her wonderful niece/nurse, Pam Bergfeld.  Pam always went above and beyond to make sure Mom had the best care possible at all levels.  We are also very thankful for all the other caregivers who played a part and helped give Mom the best life possible at her home.

Marian is survived by five sons, Tim Adams of Wheeler, Illinois, Jim Adams of Effingham, Illinois, Rick Adams (wife Paula) of Odin, Illinois, Matt Adams (wife Paula) of Mason, Illinois, Adam Adams (wife Michelle) of Mason, Illinois; three daughters, Arlene Pontious (husband Todd) of Effingham, Illinois, Hope Yingst (husband James "Bo") of Farina, Illinois, Dawn Adams of Chatom, Alabama; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two brothers,  Donald "Butch" Walker (wife Terry) of Peoria, Illinois and Bob Walker (wife Vicki) of Effingham, Illinois; two sisters, Donna Mae Parkhurst of Robinson, Illinois and Margie Lankford (husband Laverl) of Effingham, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Adams; two sons in infancy; two brothers, Bill Walker and John Walker and daughter-in-law, Christine Adams.
