Marilyn Joyce Hagen, age 63, of Effingham, Illinois passed away at 1:54 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2021 at her home in Effingham, Illinois.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Iola Cemetery in Iola, Illinois. Jim Helm will be officiating. Memorials may go to the family or the donor's choice.

Marilyn was born on December 19, 1957 in Urbana, Illinois, the daughter of Robert Morris and Phyllis (Ingram) Weidner. She loved painting, mushroom hunting, fishing, camping, being out in nature, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her brothers, Bill Weidner (wife Cherri) of Kinmundy, Illinois, Bret Weidner of Iola, Illinois, and Lloyd Weidner (wife Terry) of Iola, Illinois; nieces and nephews, Jason Weidner of Iola, Jeremy Weidner (wife Kristina) of Louisville, Jennifer Stine (husband Phillip) of Kinmundy, Danny Weidner (wife Rhonda) of Iola, Reanna Weidner (special friend Travis Potter) of Kinmundy, Chasity Juds of Mattoon, Lindsey Norman (husband Will) of St. Peter, Kendra Weidner of Kinmundy; many great nieces and nephews; boyfriend, Jim Harper; sister-in-law, Cindy Miller (husband David) of Edgewood, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Phyllis Weidner; son, Joshua Lynn Winchester.
