Obituary

Marion Kramer, 73, formerly of St. Peter and Farina, IL passed away at 4:50 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Evergreen Nursing & Rehab Center in Effingham, IL.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday December 21, 2014 at the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church in Kinmundy, Illinois.   Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday December 22, 2014 at the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church in Kinmundy. Father Larry Lemay officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Kinmundy. Memorials may be made to the St. Theresa Catholic School in Salem, Illinois. Marion was born on May 3, 1941 in LaClede Township, the son of Francis and Gertrude (Vogel) Kramer. He married Lois Bushue on October 19, 1963 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Edgewood, IL.
He was a Member of the Kinmundy Catholic Church, Farm Bureau, and the National Rifle Association. He loved to go dancing, collecting, traveling, hunting, fishing, socializing at the coffee shop, watching western movies, listening to country music and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Lois Kramer of Farina, IL and a son, Ronald Kramer (wife Terri) of Farina, IL; two daughters, Julie McCray (husband Randy) of Charleston, IL, Amanda Kramer of Sterling Heights, MI; two brothers, Vincent Kramer (wife Karen) of White Lake, WI, Leon Kramer of Goose Creek, SC; five sisters, Rosella Cook (husband Deon) of Bemidji, MN, Madonna Cook (husband Leon) of Bemidji, MN, Theresa Shaffer (husband Warren) of Glendive, MT, Nancy Henninger  of Bemidji, MN, Karen Siddens (husband Tony) of Mason, IL; Mother-in-law, Ruth Bushue of Effingham, IL; three brothers-in-law, Danny Bushue (wife Maggie) of Effingham, IL, Dick Bushue (wife Sue) Teutopolis, IL, Don Bushue (wife Aleta) of Effingham, IL; one sister-in-law, Marsha Hilligoss (husband Ben) of Tolono, IL; two grandchildren, Crystal Lovett (husband Brian) of Edgewood, IL and Jeremy Kramer of Farina, IL; one great grandchild, Lindsey Lovett of Edgewood, IL.
He was preceded by his parents, Francis and Gertrude Kramer; one son, Nicholas Kramer; sister, Lucille Colclasure; brother-in-law, Carl Henninger and father-in-law, Ruben Bushue .
